Bon Accord Museum

Welcome to the Monster Mine's little brother - The Bon Accord.
While a failure as a mine, the Bon Accord played a critical role in the development of the Burra region.
Listen as Johnny Green describes the development of the Bon Accord as the primary water source sustaining Burra for over 100 years.
Keep your ears open as Johnny will reveal an answer to one of our Scavenger Hunt questions as the speaks.

The Bon Accord is open most afternoons - check at the Visitor Information Centre to confirm times, and entry to the Bon Accord Museum is free for Burra Heritage Passport holders.

If you don't have a pass-code to access the audio, please visit the Burra and Goyder Visitor Information Centre on Market Square and purchase the Burra Heritage Passport.
