Mellers at Auburn

Built in the mid 1800s, Mellers of Auburn is a beautifully restored Cafe & Bed and Breakfast situated in the historic village of Auburn, the gateway to the Clare Valley wine region and close to the Riesling and Rattler Trails, both favourites of cyclists and walkers alike.

The historic town of Auburn exemplifies the romance of the Clare Valley wine region. At its heart is the former general store which has been transformed into the beautiful, rustic casual eatery known as Mellers Cafe. Next door is the award winning Restaurant Terroir of Auburn. The old store is now a foodies haven that melds 1800s charm and delicious food. Mellers Cafe is open for breakfast, lunch or a snack anytime between 9am and 3pm Monday to Friday and between 9am and 4pm on weekends.

Mellers of Auburn 4 star accommodation offers 3 heritage rooms, Mellers Studio and 2 rooms in the converted stable block at the rear of property. The cosy, cottage style comfortable rooms have large en-suites with spa baths in the stable rooms and a regular bath tub in the studio.
