Glacier Rock and Rockview Cafe

Glacier Rock is a remarkable piece of geological history, which is estimated to be over 250 million years old. It is one of the worlds largest exposed glacial pavements along with the maybe 30 tonne granite boulder lodged in the river bank, which is called an erratic, and was carried by ice from Granite Island (about 20km away). An impressive demonstration of the forces of nature! Thankfully you don't have to be Indiana Jones to experience the rock close up as there are steps down to the rock viewing platform. For the adventurous ones you can wander across the river and walk upon this great piece of history.

Enjoy the views and experience great foods.

Our cafe sits right above the rock offering a magnificent view as you enjoy your meal. Dave, Teresa and their family offer great home style cooking and warm hospitality. So come on in and enjoy the surrounds of the beautiful Inman Valley. Call in to the Cafe & fully licenced Restaurant and enjoy Devonshire Tea, Homemade Cakes and Slices, Espresso Coffee even stay for Lunch or Dinner. We can't wait to see you, it is definitely worth the short picturesque drive!
