Jump in the car and take a drive around Lake Butler and the Marina, visiting the historic Customs House and Royal Circus, and following your nose up to the Cape Dombey Obelisk with its spectacular views of the coast.
Explore the greater township, seeking out the famous Mahalia Coffee and Cafe, the Robe Sealife Centre, where the kids can hand feed snapper, and the Beacon Hill Lookout, providing great views of the township and local coastline.
If you are keen for a drive, we recommend that you head out to visit Little Dip National Park and the beautiful Nora Creina Cove, about 25 minutes south of Robe.
Please be aware that much of these roads are un-sealed, and while a 4WD is not necessary, care should be taken at all times.
If an easier drive is up your alley, why not head out to Long Beach, just 10 minutes out of town towards Kingston. Here you can drive your car onto the beach, finding yourself a great place for a picnic, surf or fishing expedition.
