Long Beach and Surf Beach

  • location icon Long Beach Robe SA 5275

Long Beach provides a safe beach for all water activities and is popular with locals and tourist alike because of the ability to be able to drive and park on the beach.

Roughly 12kms in length the beach is divided in 3 sections known as ramps. From the town end the start of Long Beach is known as First Ramp and this is not accessable to vehicles making it extra safe for children. Regular vehicles can access the beach from Second Ramp and drive nearly all the way to Third Ramp where is it advisable to use a 4WD from then on. Third Ramp is also a popular surfing spot and lessons are available during the summer months.
